What is BDE and who can register?
BDE is the MTO-Approved driving course.
New drivers don’t need to have their Ontario G1 in order to register for the BDE course. In fact, it’s actually recommended to begin prior to G1 acquisition to prepare for the written test, as well as to build the foundation for the road.
And while taking the course is not required, there are benefits in doing so, including:
- Learn at the highest caliber possible with a school that implements our 3 main learning criteria: Observation, Application, and Instruction
- Eligibility for G2 road test after just 8 months instead of 12;
- Saving money on your car insurance
Be eligible to take your G2 road test after just 8 months instead of the usual 12.
Insurance discounts are offered by many insurance companies to those who’ve successfully completed the course.
